ABOUT MULTICOLOUR MATHS
Multicolour Maths is a new method designed to help children and adults learn the foundations of mathematics using only colours and shapes, removing numerals and symbols that can at times trigger anxiety for many students.
By honing in on the mind’s ability to recall visual images, the Multicolour Maths method has a focus on teaching primary number bonds and multiplications, this method provides endless opportunities to build strong foundations whilst discovering the beauty, endless patterns and creativity of mathematics. Presented at the British Society of Research into the Learning of Mathematics (BSRLM) in June 2024 with incredibly positive response.
Multicolour Maths on Munroe Island is a picture-book in which a mystical eight year old boy, Niram, introduces the method and reveals the beauty of mathematics as he guides the reader around a small village in India - Munroe Island.
Multicolour Maths - Calculate in Colour is a book designed to teach the method to people of all ages, introducing the system and how to utilise it for both practical and artistic use. This is set for release October 2024.
